In case anyone is having the same issue, I have the Photoshop 2020 but can't find the Object Selection Tool. I went to Adobe and found the solution and how to restore it back to my toolbar – https://helpx.adobe.com/photoshop/kb/bringing-back-tools.html
The tutorial is great but how do i save the masked photo because when i do it always puts in a white background but i want it to be transparent (with the grey and white squares)
This is a great tutorial for removing all types of backgrounds. TIP: If you have the latest version of photoshop and still can't find the object selection tool, go to Edit – Toolbar.
